About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Care Manager, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP).  I am also an Education Partner with Age-U-Cate Training Institute and offer the Dementia Live® Program.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in hospitals, community-based organizations, and long-term care settings—supporting individuals, families, and professionals as they navigate the challenges of aging and dementia.

Dementia Live is an immersive, high-impact experience that helps participants step into the world of a person living with dementia. By simulating sensory and cognitive changes—such as tunnel vision, altered touch, and slowed processing—participants gain a deeper understanding of what life can feel like for those they care for. This powerful experience builds empathy, insight, and compassion, empowering care teams to provide more person-centered and dignified care.
